Chad Walters named Varsity Boy's Lacrosse Coach

Coach Walters has been promoted to the Head Coaching Position for Oakland High School Boys Varsity Lacrosse Program. Coach Walters played Division 2 lacrosse at Lincoln Memorial University where he was a two way midfielder and a team captain his senior year. From there, he moved on to coaching at St. Andrews University and the University of the South. He is currently a coach at Tri-Fit Murfreesboro and works with people of all ages to increase their strength, mobility, and quality of life. He lives in Murfreesboro with his wife, Taylor, and son, Woodrow.

“ I look forward to getting the chance to grow the game of lacrosse within Oakland High School and the Rutherford County area. My ultimate goal is to build these young men up to have the confidence to go out into the real world and be successful in college or in the work force. I hope to build future leaders and to build a program that has a winning culture that Oakland High School already embodies.”
